Who am I? I’m Barbara De Smedt, nice to meet you. I live in Portugal on the Silver Coast where I can enjoy the beautiful Atlantic ocean every day.
Writing is my passion, freedom is my greatest wealth, and humor is my currency.
Since becoming a full-time author, this blog doesn’t get updated quite as often as it should, but I do write a monthly newsletter on www.barbaradesmedt.com
Road Trip
I love traveling and my biggest trip was the road trip I made with my little family along the West Coast of Europe. You can find plenty of articles about it here. After that trip, we decided to move to Portugal, more about our emigration you can read here.
Books
In 2020, I wrote the thriller ‘Alone’ (published by Hamley Books in Dutch), and in June 2021, ‘Road Trip to Nowhere’ was released. Both books have been translated into English and will be available in the Summer of ’23 at your favorite bookstore. Follow this blog for updates!
Right now I’m working on my third thriller, which will be released in Dutch Fall of ’23.
